What? Where? Why?

I am coming to the end of my first year of BSc Computing Science (G400) at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.  University has always been one of those things I had always wanted to do, but never thought I would be able to.  In the summer of 2007, I was more-or-less dared to apply to UEA by my best friend, who was applying herself, after finding she disliked Cambridge University.

I decided to give it a go - after all, I had nothing to loose, and I was asked to meet for an interview.  Having had the interview, I was given an unconditional offer (before I had formally applied bizarrely).

My final eyear project has been assigned, and I'm happy to announce my first choice was assigned to me! Detecting Emotion from the Voice supervised by Dr Barry-John Theobald.
